Northwest District Detectives Upgrade 2022 Investigation Following Death of Victim

On Oct. 14, 2022, at approximately 10:04 p.m., Western District officers with the Baltimore Police Department (BPD) responded to the 5200 Block of Nelson Avenue to investigate a reported shooting.

Once at the location, officers located a 45-year-old male victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the body. The victim was later transported to an area hospital for treatment.

On Feb. 25, homicide detectives were notified that the victim, Harry Caesar, 45, died due to his injuries, and an autopsy was conducted. On July 6, the medical examiners ruled the death a homicide due to complications from the shooting.
