On Jan. 19, at approximately 4.35 p.m., Northwest District officers for the Baltimore Police Department (BPD) were dispatched to the 5400 block of Park Heights Avenue to investigate a reported shooting.
When officers arrived at the location, they observed a 37-year-old Carl Gilmore inside of a vehicle suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to Sinai Hospital by ambulance and pronounced dead by medical personnel a short time later.
Homicide investigators have assumed control over the investigation. Anyone who has information about this incident is urged to contact detectives at 410-396-2100.
