On June 28, at approximately 2:59 p.m., Northwest District officers with the Baltimore Police Department (BPD) responded to the 6600 block of Reisterstown Road to investigate discharging.

Once at the location, officers did an area canvas and found evidence of discharging of a firearm in the Home Depot parking lot.

A short time later, officers were called to an area hospital for a walk-in shooting victim seeking treatment for an apparent gunshot wound to the body. Officers responded to the hospital and located a 21-year-old male victim being treated for a non-life-threatening injury.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was in the parking lot of the Home Depot when an unidentified suspect shot him.

Northwest District shooting detectives responded to the scene and assumed control over the investigation. Anyone with information is urged to contact Northwest District shooting detectives at 410-396-2466.
