Northern District Officers Seek Answer in Shirley Avenue Shooting

On April 22, at approximately 10:03 a.m., Northern District officers with the Baltimore Police Department (BPD) were dispatched to the 2600 block of Shirley Avenue to investigate a reported shooting.

Once officers arrived, they located a 55-year-old male victim sitting in a vehicle suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to face. The victim was transported to an area hospital by medic with non-life-threatening injuries.

Northern District shooting detectives responded to the scene and assumed control over the investigation. Anyone with information is urged to contact Northern District shooting detectives at 410-396-2455.
