Northern District Officers Respond to Victim Who Sustained Gunshot Wound Possibly Days Prior

On June 22, at approximately 8:11 a.m., Northern District patrol officers with the Baltimore Police Department (BPD) responded to the 2000 block of Maryland Avenue for a report of a shooting.

Once there, officers located a 28-year-old male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the leg. The victim informed officers that he was shot possibly one or two days ago in the area of Greenmount Avenue at East North Avenue.

Medics transported the victim to an area hospital for treatment.
