Northeast Officers Respond to Shooting Victim Seeking Help at Hospital Outside Jurisdiction

On March 18, at approximately 8:07 a.m., Northeast District officers with the Baltimore Police Department (BPD) were dispatched to an out of jurisdiction hospital to investigate a shooting victim seeking treatment.

Officers responded to the hospital and observed a 42-year-old male suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

Northeast District shooting detectives responded and assumed control over the investigation.

Preliminary information revealed that the victim was near the intersection of Harford Road and White Avenue when he heard a pop. The victim went home and then to a hospital to seek treatment.
