North Potomac Street Shooting Victim Dies

On March 16, at approximately 6:49 p.m., Baltimore Police Department officers responded to the 1200 block of North Potomac Street in reference to a ShotSpotter alert.

Once there, 21-year-old Christopher Yancey was found suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Officers began administering life-saving procedures. Medics transported the victim to an area hospital for further treatment, where he was pronounced deceased a short time later.

Eastern District Detectives are investigating. Anyone with information is asked to contact them at 410-396-2433.
