Non-Fatal Shooting of 16-Year-Old Reported in Southeast District

The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) is looking for answers in the non-fatal shooting of a teen on Dec. 26.

On Monday, at approximately 11:50 p.m., Southeast District officers were dispatched to the intersection of Mount Pleasant Avenue and Dean Street to investigate a reported shooting.

When officers arrived at the location, they observed a 16-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound to the abdomen. The victim was transported to an area hospital by ambulance.

Southeast District shooting investigators have assumed control over the investigation.  Anyone who has information about this incident is urged to contact detectives at 410-396-2422.
