Non-Fatal Shooting Investigation Underway Following Incident on South Monroe Street

On July 31, at approximately 3:35 a.m., officers responded to the 400 block of South Monroe Street to investigate a call for a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers located a 29-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound to his chest. Medics transported the victim to an area hospital, where he is now listed in stable condition.

Southwest District shooting detectives with the Baltimore Police Department were notified and responded to assume control over this investigation.
