A non-fatal shooting defendant received a June trial date from Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Melissa K. Copeland during an April 25 hearing.
Terrell Warren, 38, is charged with firearm possession with a felony conviction, illegal possession of a regulated firearm, possession of a firearm without a serial number, illegal possession of ammunition, and firing a gun in connection to a Nov. 27, 2023, incident.
Warren, who was represented by Derrick Hamlin, was given a plea offer by the prosecution.
The deal was for firearm possession with a felony conviction and consisted of five years in prison without the possibility of parole in addition to registering as a gun offender in return for dropping other charges. Warren declined the offer.
The defense just received evidence from the prosecution and wanted to come back for trial in June. Judge Copeland scheduled a three-day trial starting on June 28 before Judge Barry G. Williams.
