Christopher Correlli stood before Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Michael A. Dipietro on July 29 and took a plea in relation to a non-fatal shooting incident.

Correlli, 22, was initially charged with attempted first and second-degree murder, first-degree assault, reckless endangerment, and several other firearm and conspiracy related offenses in relation to the July 5, 2024 shooting on the 1800 block of Aiken Street.

Correlli pleaded guilty to attempted second-degree murder for five years concurrent with five years for firearm use in a felony or violent crime.

According to charging documents, Correlli and co-defendent Ryan Joy were allegedly driving a 2022 Chevy Silverado with Pennsylvania plates following an unidentified black car down Aiken Street. The driver and passenger of the Silverado began firing from inside the truck at the black car.

Joy, 24, who was later identified as the passenger was charged with first and second-degree attempted murder, first-degree assault, and several other firearm offenses.

Joy pleaded guilty to first-degree assault on March 4 accepting sixteen years suspending all but four years with five years of supervised probation.
Baltimore Police Department (BPD) detectives were able to identify the suspects in the Silverado from a license plate reader, where they took Correlli and Joy into custody.
