A homicide defendant received a June trial date from Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Melissa K. Copeland at a hearing on April 16.

Earl Lee, 28, is charged with first-degree murder, firearm use in a felony violent crime and firearm use with a felony conviction in connection to the death of 28-year-old David Boykin.

The prosecution did not have an offer for Lee and his defense attorney Paul Kramer.

Judge Copeland scheduled a four-day trial beginning on June 25.

According to a Baltimore Police Department press release, investigators reported that Lee allegedly shot and killed Boykin while on the 2000 block of Cliftwood Avenue.

On Nov. 8 2023, officers arrested Lee while on the 700 block of North Ellwood Street.
