Multiple Cases Go Unheard on Baltimore City Circuit Court Docket

Three non-fatal shooting cases scheduled for reception court were not heard in Baltimore County Circuit Court on June 14.

The first case involved a Baltimore resident who is 18. He is charged with one count of armed carjacking, carjacking, armed robbery, robbery, assault in the first and second-degree, firearm use in a felony violent crime, loaded handgun on person, carrying a handgun, loaded handgun in a vehicle, handgun in vehicle on public road, possession of firearm by a minor, illegal possession of ammunition, car theft, unauthorized removal of a motor vehicle, theft of $100-$1,500, and reckless endangerment. 

The incident took place on April 4, 2020, when the defendant was 17 years old.

The defendant’s court date has not been updated on the Maryland Judiciary Case Search website.

The case of another Baltimore resident, who is 29 years old, was also not called on Monday. He is charged with multiple crimes, including use of a firearm, second-degree assault, handgun on a person, and loaded handgun on a person. 

The incident took place on November 28, 2020. 

The defendant is scheduled for trial on Oct. 25.

Another unheard case included a 19-year-old Baltimore resident who is charged with two counts of armed carjacking, two counts of carjacking, two counts of armed robbery, two counts of robbery, two counts of first and second-degree assault, two counts of theft less than $100, two counts of unlawful taking of a motor vehicle, and two counts of use of a firearm. 

The incident took place on August 12, 2019, when the defendant was 17 years old. 

His court date is not yet updated.
