MTA, BPD Respond to Madison Avenue Shooting

On Aug. 17, at approximately 11:05 p.m., Western District officers were dispatched to the 1100 block of Madison Avenue to investigate a call of a reported shooting. 

Once at the location, Baltimore Police Department officers learned that MTA and Captain Police heard discharging in the area and an observed an unidentified male suffering from gunshot wounds. The male victim was transported to an area hospital and is listed in critical condition. 

Due to the severity of the victim’s injuries, Homicide Detectives responded to the scene.

Update: The victim in this case has since been identified as 37-year-old Dominic De Angelo Reid Jr. Reid was pronounced dead on Aug. 25.
