The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced a shooting investigation in the Central District.
On March 8, at approximately 3:24 a.m., officers responded to the 800 block of Guilford Avenue to investigate a reported shooting.
Upon arrival, officers located a 40-year-old man who had been shot in the upper torso. The victim was transported to an area hospital and remains in serious condition.
While investigating, Central District detectives learned the victim was shot following a verbal dispute.
