The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced an investigation into a homicide in the Eastern District.
On Feb. 15, at approximately 8:50 p.m., Eastern District patrol officers responded to the 1800 block of Montford Avenue for a report of a shooting.
Upon arrival, officers located a 41-year-old male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
Medics responded to the scene and transported the victim to an area hospital where he was listed in critical condition.
Homicide detectives are actively investigating the incident.
