The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced a shooting investigation in the Western District.
On Aug. 4, at approximately 5:34 p.m., Western District officers responded to the 2600 block of W. North Avenue following a ShotSpotter alert.
Upon arrival, officers found two victims, a 34-year-old male and a 72-year-old male, both with gunshot wounds. Officers provided aid until medics arrived.
The victims were transported to area hospitals for treatment.
Western District shooting detectives are currently investigating this incident.
