Homicide investigators for the Western District of the Baltimore Police Department (BPD) are asking for help finding answers regarding the murder of a 20-year-old male on Dec. 26.
On Saturday, at approximately 5:05 p.m., police officers were dispatched to the Mondawmin Mall MTA Metro Station to investigate a reported shooting.
When officers arrived at the scene, they were directed to the underground portion of the subway station to coordinate with MTA police.
An ambulance was summoned and transported Caleb Thompson, who was suffering from gunshot wounds to University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center. The 20-year-old male was pronounced dead by medical personnel shortly after arrival.
