Medical Examiner Rules Teen’s Death Homicide

On June 6, at approximately 5:17 a.m., Northwest District patrol officers responded to the 3100 block of Chelsea Terrace for a report of a possible self-inflicted shooting.

Once there, Baltimore Police Department officers located 17-year-old Navaeh Ferguson suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound.

The victim was transported to an area hospital where on June 11, doctors pronounced the victim deceased.

The victim’s body was transported to the Medical Examiner’s office which ruled Ms. Ferguson’s death to be a homicide.
