Man Sustains Thigh Wound During Early Morning Shooting at West Baltimore Apartment

The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced a shooting investigation in the Western District.

On March 8, at approximately 1:53 a.m., officers responded to the 600 block of N. Calhoun Street for a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers found a 29-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to his upper thigh.

The victim was transported to an area hospital and is reportedly in good condition.

He later advised officers he was shot inside his apartment.
