Man Sustains Leg Wound in Mondawmin Shooting

The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced a shooting investigation in the Western District.

On Sept. 12, at approximately 9:40 p.m., officers responded to a ShotSpotter alert on the 1900 block of Herbert Street.

Upon arrival, officers found a 54-year-old man with an apparent gunshot wound to his leg. The victim was transported to an area hospital and is listed in stable condition.

Western District shooting detectives responded to the scene and assumed control of the investigation.
