Man Suffers Gunshot to Hand in West Lanvale Street Shooting

On Aug. 14, at approximately 9:36 p.m., Southwest District patrol officers responded to an area hospital for a walk-in shooting victim seeking treatment. 

Upon arrival at the hospital, Baltimore Police Department officers spoke with the 23-year-old male victim who was suffering from an apparent gunshot wounds to the right hand. The victim is listed in stable condition. 

Preliminary investigation revealed That victim was on the 2800 block of West Lanvale Street, when he was shot. 

Southwest District Shooting detectives responded to the scene and assumed control of the investigation. Anyone with information is urged to contact Southwest District Shooting detectives at 410-396-2488.
