The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced an update regarding a shooting incident that occurred in 2017.
On July 7, 2017, at approximately 5:45 a.m., 40-year-old Gregory Johnson was shot by an unidentified suspect on the 1700 block of Pennsylvania Avenue.
He was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
Last month, on June 28, Johnson passed away at a hospital.
On July 18, the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner determined that his death was a homicide due to complications related to the gunshot wounds he sustained in 2017.
