On Sept. 28, at around 8 p.m., Baltimore Police Department officers responded to the 4100 block of Frederick Avenue to investigate a call for a shooting.
Upon arrival, officers observed an unresponsive 32-year-old male suffering from numerous life-threatening gunshot wounds. Medics pronounced the victim deceased.
Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was shot on the 300 block of South Augusta Street.
Homicide detectives responded and assumed control over this investigation. The Medical Examiner’s Office will take possession of the body.

Update: The victim in this case has been identified as 30-year-old Dean Reaves.
