Man Shot to Death During Early Morning Burglary in Canton

The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced a homicide investigation in the Southeast District.

On Oct. 16, at approximately 2:15 a.m., Southeast District patrol officers responded to the 2200 block of Fleet Street for a report of a shooting.

Officers located a 39-year-old male, unresponsive, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to an area hospital where he later died.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the shooting possibly occurred during a commercial burglary.

Homicide detectives are investigating this incident.
