Non-Fatal Shooting

The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced a shooting investigation in the Southern District.
On March 2, at approximately 8:16 p.m., Southern District officers responded to an area hospital for a walk-in shooting victim seeking treatment for a gunshot wound.
Officers located a 42-year-old male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the hip. The victim is listed in stable condition.
Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim stated he was walking in an alley near Bayard Street when he was shot.
Southern District shooting detectives responded to the scene and assumed control of the investigation.
