Man Shot Near Midnight Downtown, Expected to Survive

The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced a shooting investigation in the Central District.

On Sept. 1, at approximately 11:33 p.m., Central District patrol officers responded to N. Howard at W. Fayette Street for a report of a shooting.

Officers located a 24-year-old male suffering from an apparent non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

The victim was transported by medics to an area hospital for treatment.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was shot in the unit block of N. Howard Street.
