The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced a homicide investigation in the Southern District.
On Feb. 23, at approximately 5:31 p.m., Southern District patrol officers heard gunfire coming from the 3600 block of Potee Street.
Upon arrival, officers located 28-year-old Sae’quan Newton suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the body. Medics pronounced him deceased at the scene.
Officers also located a 28-year-old male victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the body, who was transported to an area hospital by medics and is listed in critical condition.
