The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced a shooting investigation in the Southwest District.
On Aug. 2, at approximately 8:45 p.m., Southwest District patrol officers responded to the 4300 block of Eldone Road for a report of a shooting.
Officers located a 36-year-old male suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was shot while in the 4300 block of Parkton Street by an unidentified suspect.
