Man in Critical Condition After Suspected Armed Robbery on North Broadway

The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced a shooting investigation in the Central District.

On Feb. 13, at approximately 9:27 a.m., officers responded to a business establishment on the 100 block of N. Broadway for a report of a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers located a 36-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to his torso. The victim was transported to an area hospital, where he was initially listed in critical condition.

He was later pronounced deceased, and the incident was upgraded to a homicide.

Preliminary information suggested the shooting occurred during a robbery attempt.

Central District homicide detectives are now investigating this incident.
