Man Shot in Leg on Downtown Baltimore’s Lexington Street

The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced an investigation into a shooting incident in the Central District.

On Oct. 21, at approximately 8:06 p.m., Central District patrol officers were conducting foot patrol in the area of Saratoga and Eutaw Street when they heard gunfire coming from the 300 block of Lexington Street.

Upon arrival, officers located a 61-year-old victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg. The victim was transported to an area hospital and is listed in stable condition.

Central District shooting detectives responded to the scene and assumed control of the investigation.

A week prior, a 19-year-old male was wounded in a shooting that occurred just one block away on the 200 block of S. Eutaw Street.
