Man Shot in Leg in East Baltimore

The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced an investigation into a shooting incident in the Eastern District.

On Sept. 28, at approximately 7:47 p.m., officers were dispatched to an area hospital for a gunshot victim seeking treatment.

Officers arrived at the hospital and located a 49-year-old male with a gunshot wound to his leg. The victim is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

The victim advised that he was shot while in the 1800 block of N. Chapel Street by an unknown suspect.

Eastern District detectives responded to the scene and hospital as part of their investigation.
