Man Shot in Leg During the Day in East Baltimore, Expected to Survive

The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced an investigation into a shooting incident in the Eastern District.

On Dec. 7, at approximately 10:31 a.m., officers responded to the 2200 block of E. North Avenue following a reported shooting.

Upon arrival, officers found a 33-year-old man suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to his leg. The victim was transported to an area hospital, where he is currently listed in stable condition.

Eastern District shooting detectives arrived at the scene and have taken control of the investigation.
