The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred on July 17.

According to a press release, officers were called to a local hospital around 4:15 p.m.

Upon arrival, officers found a 43-year-old man seeking treatment for a non-life threatening gunshot wound to his finger. 

The victim said he was shot on the 500 block of Orchard Street.
