Man Shot in Central Park Heights Seeks Treatment for Foot Injury

The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced a shooting investigation in the Northwest District.

On Jan. 12, at approximately 5:53 p.m., officers responded to an area hospital following a report of a walk-in shooting victim seeking treatment.

Upon arrival at the hospital, officers located a 55-year-old man suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to his foot. The victim is listed in stable condition.

The victim advised officers he was in an alley on the 4700 block of Litchfield Avenue around 1:30 a.m. when he heard discharging and felt pain in his foot. Following the discharge, he returned home. Approximately 16 hours later, he took himself to the hospital.

Northwest District shooting detectives responded to the scene and assumed control of the investigation.
