Man Shot in Back on Walther Avenue

The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced a shooting investigation in the Northeast District.

On Aug. 29, at approximately 7:10 p.m., officers responded to the 6600 block of Walther Avenue to investigate a reported shooting.

Upon arrival, officers located a 43-year-old man inside a vehicle suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the back.

The victim was transported to an area hospital in critical condition. His condition is now stable.

Northeast District shooting detectives responded to the scene and assumed control of the investigation.
