Judge Lazerow sentenced Cox to 25 years, suspending all but 10 years, for first-degree assault and a consecutive 20 years, suspending all but 10 years, for firearm use in a felony or violent crime. He received suspended concurrent sentences for the remaining charges, including five years for possessing a firearm as a minor, three years for having a handgun on his person and one year each for illegal possession of ammunition and firing a gun in Baltimore City.
