The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced a homicide investigation in the Western District.
On Jan. 18, at approximately 4:48 a.m., a Western District patrol officer was flagged down by a citizen regarding an incident near Linden Avenue and W. North Avenue.
Officers located an unidentified adult man suffering from an apparent life-threatening gunshot wound. The victim was transported to an area hospital by medics, where he later died.
Homicide detectives are conducting the investigation.
