Man Killed in Fatal Fourth of July Shooting

The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced a homicide investigation in the Southeast District.

On July 4, at approximately 11:51 p.m., Southeast District officers responded to the 3500 block of Esther Place to investigate the discharging of a firearm.

Upon arrival, officers located Aaron Hill, 38, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the body.

The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene by medics.
