The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced a homicide investigation in the Northern District.
On Dec. 12, at approximately 8:20 p.m., Northern District officers responded to the 500 block of E. 26th Street following a ShotSpotter alert.
Upon arrival, officers located an unidentified male suffering from gunshot wounds and began to render aid. The victim was eventually transported to an area hospital, where he was pronounced deceased dspite medical efforts.
Homicide detectives are currently investigating this incident.
