Man in ‘Critical Condition’ after Being Shot in the Back on N. Broadway

The Eastern District of the Baltimore Police Department (BPD) are investigating the shooting of a man on Nov. 27. 

On Sunday, at approximately 8:27 p.m., officers were conducting business checks on Federal Street when they heard discharging coming from nearby Broadway. Officers responded to the 900 block of N. Broadway where they located a 38-year-old male with gunshot wounds to his back.

The victim was unresponsive and being treated by an MTA Police Officer.

The victim was transported to an area hospital, by medics, where he died a few days later.

A 42-year-old male suspect was taken into custody and a firearm was recovered. Charges are pending.

Eastern District shooting detectives are investigating this incident.  This investigation is open and ongoing.
