The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced a shooting investigation in the Western District.
On Dec. 24, at approximately 6:57 p.m., Western District patrol officers responded to the 2600 block of W. Lafayette Avenue for a report of a car crash into a home.
Inside the vehicle, officers found a 27-year-old man suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Medics transported the victim to an area hospital for treatment.
Due to the severity of the victim’s injuries, homicide detectives were notified. Authorities are currently seeking information from the public to assist in the case.
