The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced a homicide investigation in the Southwest District.
On July 23, at approximately 12:05 a.m., Southwest District patrol officers responded to the 500 block of Edgewood Street to investigate a person lying in the street.
Upon arrival, officers located an adult male, unresponsive, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Medics responded to the location and pronounced the victim deceased on the scene.
Homicide detectives are actively investigating the incident.
