The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred on Aug. 8.
According to a press release, a report of an unresponsive person sent officers to the 3500 block of Springdale Avenue around 8:45 a.m.
Upon arrival, officers found an adult man with multiple gunshot wounds. Medics responded to the scene and pronounced the victim dead.
Residents told officers that they heard several gunshot wounds the night prior, but did not call the police until finding the body on Sunday morning.
