The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced a homicide investigation in the Central District.
On Feb. 28, at approximately 12:48 a.m., Central District patrol officers responded to the 1500 block of Ashland Avenue following reports of a shooting victim.
Upon arrival, officers discovered an unresponsive adult man with an apparent gunshot wound. Medics arrived and pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
Homicide detectives are actively investigating the incident.
