The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced an Eastern District homicide investigation.
On Nov. 15, at approximately 11:41 a.m., Eastern District officers responded to the 1900 block of Greenmount Avenue following a ShotSpotter alert.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a 33-year-old male victim with an apparent gunshot wound to the upper body. The victim was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced deceased by hospital staff.
Homicide detectives arrived at the scene and have taken control of the investigation.
