The Western District of the Baltimore Police Department (BPD) is investigating a shooting that occurred on Nov. 13.
On Sunday, at approximately 6:16 p.m., officers responded to a Shot Spotter alert on the 1700 block of N. Carey Street.
A short time later, officers received a call and responded to a vehicle crash at Pennsylvania Avenue and W. North Avenue.
Upon arrival to the crash, officers found the driver of the vehicle, an unknown 43-year-old male suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to an area hospital where he was in critical condition. The victim later died that day from his injuries.
Homicide detectives are investigating this incident and are asking anyone with information to call 410-396-2477 or call Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7LOCKUP.
