Man Dies Following Shooting on N. Carey Street

The Western District of the Baltimore Police Department (BPD) is investigating a shooting that occurred on Nov. 13.

On Sunday, at approximately 6:16 p.m., officers responded to a Shot Spotter alert on the 1700 block of N. Carey Street.

A short time later, officers received a call and responded to a vehicle crash at Pennsylvania Avenue and W. North Avenue.

Upon arrival to the crash, officers found the driver of the vehicle, an unknown 43-year-old male suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to an area hospital where he was in critical condition. The victim later died that day from his injuries.
