On Feb. 29, at approximately 10:27 p.m., Baltimore Police Department officers responded to the 800 block of Bethune Road to investigate a call for a shooting.
Upon arrival, officers located 16-year-old Cormar Adkins suffering from numerous life-threatening gunshot wounds. Medics transported the victim to an area hospital where, despite life-saving measures, he was pronounced deceased.
Homicide detectives were notified and assumed control over this investigation.
