The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced a homicide investigation in the Northern District.
On Oct. 25, at approximately 5:24 p.m., Northern District officers responded to the 3200 block of Reisterstown Road following a ShotSpotter alert.
Upon arrival, officers found an adult male and a 7-year-old boy with gunshot wounds. Both victims were transported to area hospitals.
The adult male was pronounced deceased by medical personnel. The child’s injuries are believed to be non-life-threatening.
Homicide detectives have taken control of the investigation.
