On Feb. 29, Baltimore Police Department detectives served an arrest warrant for attempted first-degree murder on 23-year-old Ray Johnston of Baltimore.
Detective believe that Johnston shot a 24-year-old male on Feb. 23, on the 500 block of 29th Street.
Detectives transported Johnston to the Central Booking Intake Facility.
On Feb. 23, at approximately 8:25 p.m., Northern District patrol officers responded to the 500 block of 29th Street for a reported shooting investigation.
Upon arrival, officers located a 24-year-old male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the chest. The victim was transported to an area hospital listed in critical condition.
A short time later, a 23-year-old male victim walked into an area hospital seeking treatment, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the body. The victim is listed in critical condition.
Northern District Shooting detectives responded to the scene and assumed control of the investigation.
